Digital marketing · Oman

Digital marketing in Oman that is measured in enquiries, not likes

We run digital marketing for businesses in Oman: Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok campaigns, email and WhatsApp marketing, landing pages and the analytics that ties it all to real enquiries and sales. Management is from OMR 120 a month per channel; your media spend is billed at cost and stays in your own ad accounts.

The usual Omani experience of an agency is a monthly report full of impressions and a phone that does not ring more than it did before. We set up every campaign so we can both see cost per enquiry, cost per order, and which channel is earning its budget. If a channel does not perform in ninety days, we stop it.

Oman specifics

Digital marketing in Oman: what actually works

Instagram and Snapchat carry consumer attention; TikTok is growing fast. For restaurants, retail, beauty, events and real estate, a small, consistent Meta and Snapchat budget with strong creative outperforms almost everything else per rial.

Google Search catches intent. For services people search for when they need them (clinics, repairs, lawyers, moving, training), a tightly targeted Google Search campaign for Muscat, in English and Arabic, produces the cheapest qualified enquiries in the market.

WhatsApp is the conversion channel. Ads in Oman should usually lead to WhatsApp, not a form. Click-to-WhatsApp campaigns with a prepared first message and a fast reply process convert two to three times better than a form for most SMEs here.

Budgets are modest, so waste hurts. Many Omani campaigns lose money to broad targeting that spills into other countries, to English-only ads for Arabic-speaking audiences, and to nobody answering the phone. All three are fixable before spending another rial.

How it works

From first message to delivery

  1. Step 1

    Numbers and channels

A short audit of your current accounts, a target cost per enquiry or order, and a channel plan with a monthly budget.

  2. Step 2

    Tracking before spending

GA4, pixels, conversion events, call and WhatsApp tracking set up and tested. No campaign starts until the numbers are trustworthy.

  3. Step 3

    Launch and test

Campaigns launch with several creatives and audiences. The first month is about finding what works, not about spending the full budget.

  4. Step 4

    Scale what earns

Budget moves monthly to the channels and creatives that produce enquiries at the target cost.

Questions

Digital marketing in Oman: common questions

How much does digital marketing cost in Oman?
Management fees start at OMR 120 a month per channel for Meta or TikTok ads and OMR 130 a month for Google Ads, excluding VAT. Media spend is separate and paid directly to the platform; most Omani SMEs start with OMR 150 to 500 a month of spend per channel.
What is the minimum ad budget that makes sense in Oman?
For a single channel, around OMR 150 a month of media spend is enough to learn what works for a local service business. Below that the data is too thin to optimise. E-commerce and GCC-wide campaigns need more.
Do we own the ad accounts?
Yes, always. Campaigns are built in ad accounts that belong to you, with your card on file. If we part ways you keep everything, including the data.
Which platform is best for our business in Oman?
Google Search for services people look for when they need them. Instagram and Snapchat for consumer brands, restaurants and retail. TikTok for younger audiences and video-led products. LinkedIn for B2B. Most businesses need two of these, not all of them.
How quickly will we see enquiries from ads?
Google Search and click-to-WhatsApp campaigns usually produce enquiries within the first week. Social campaigns take two to four weeks of creative testing to find their footing. Judging any channel takes about ninety days.
Do you write ads in Arabic?
Yes. Arabic ad copy and creatives are written and reviewed by a native speaker, and campaigns are split so English and Arabic audiences see the right language.
