Web design and development in Oman

We design and build websites for businesses in Oman: fast, mobile-first, bilingual when you need it, and priced in Omani rials with the scope written down before any work starts. A standard business website of five to eight pages starts at OMR 250 and is usually live within three to four weeks.

Most Omani companies we meet have a site that was built once, in 2019 or so, and never touched again. It loads slowly on a phone, the WhatsApp button goes to a number that no longer answers, and it does not appear on Google for a single service the company sells. A website should be the hardest-working salesperson you have. That is what this service fixes.

What is included

What you get with web design & development in Oman

Strategy and structure first

A short workshop to agree what the site must do (enquiries, bookings, sales), who it is for, and which pages actually earn their place.

Design in your brand

Custom layouts on desktop and mobile, not a template with your logo dropped in. Arabic right-to-left layouts when the audience needs them.

Built to be found

Clean code, correct headings, page titles written for the searches your customers type, schema markup, and a sitemap submitted to Google on launch day.

Speed as a feature

Sites are built to pass Google's Core Web Vitals on a mid-range Android on Omantel or Ooredoo 4G, not just on a MacBook in the office.

Content you can edit

A CMS with editor training so your team can change prices, add a project or post news without calling anyone.

WhatsApp, forms and tracking connected

Every enquiry lands where you will see it: WhatsApp, email, a simple CRM. Analytics and conversion tracking set up from day one.

Prices in OMR

Oman specifics

What matters for a website in Oman specifically

Phones first. The large majority of visits to Omani business sites come from mobile, often on 4G rather than Wi-Fi. A heavy homepage video that looks impressive in the office is the reason enquiries stop on the road to Sohar.

Arabic where it earns its keep. Not every business needs a full Arabic site, but customer-facing sectors (clinics, restaurants, retail, real estate, government suppliers) usually do. We build the Arabic version as a proper right-to-left layout with Arabic typography, not a machine-translated copy of the English pages.

Local trust signals. Omani buyers look for a Commercial Registration number, a Muscat address or clear service areas, a working WhatsApp number and Google reviews. These belong on the site, not hidden in a PDF.

A .om domain when it fits. For companies selling mainly inside the Sultanate, a .om or .com.om domain signals that you are here; for exporters or GCC-wide brands a .com is usually the better choice. We will tell you which and register it with you.

How it works

From first message to delivery

  1. Step 1

    Brief and fixed quote

A 30-minute call or WhatsApp exchange, then an itemised quote with scope, timeline and payment schedule. No surprises later.

  2. Step 2

    Content and design

We write or edit the copy with you, design the key pages, and you approve them on desktop and phone before build starts.

  3. Step 3

    Build, test, launch

Development, speed and mobile testing, Google Search Console and analytics set up, then launch on a day you choose.

  4. Step 4

    Keep it working

An optional care plan covers updates, backups, security patches and small content changes each month.

Questions

Web design & development in Oman: common questions

How much does a website cost in Oman?
A one-page site starts at OMR 90, a standard business website of five to eight pages at OMR 250, and a larger corporate site with a CMS from OMR 650. Online stores start at OMR 495. Hosting is from OMR 15 a month and a care plan from OMR 45 a month. All prices exclude 5% VAT.
How long does it take to build a website in Oman?
A landing page takes about a week, a business website three to four weeks, and a corporate site or online store six to ten weeks. The biggest variable is how quickly content and approvals come back from your side.
Do you build Arabic websites?
Yes. Arabic versions are built as real right-to-left layouts with Arabic typography and mirrored components, from OMR 190 on top of the English site. Translation and localisation are quoted separately per page.
Will our website show up on Google in Oman?
Every site we build launches with correct titles, headings, schema markup, a sitemap and Search Console. That is the foundation. Ranking for competitive searches such as 'contractor Muscat' then needs local SEO work, which we offer as a separate monthly service.
Can we update the website ourselves?
Yes. Business and corporate sites come with a CMS and a training session so your team can edit text, prices, images and news. Most clients never need to call us for content changes.
Do you work with businesses outside Muscat?
Yes. Most of the work happens over WhatsApp, calls and shared documents, so clients in Sohar, Salalah, Nizwa, Sur and Buraimi get exactly the same service. We visit in person for larger projects.
